Aldrich began her dance aspirations as a child in ballet and musical theater. Her training continued as a theater major at UCLA, where she first learned about somatic awareness through her voice professor, who taught Alexander Technique. In 1997 she began integrating awareness with Pilates, as a springboard diving coach. In 2000, Aldrich began working for the Pacific Northwest Ballet's Pilates conditioning studio where she instructed professional dancers, professional division students and the general public. She continued to teach and direct mind-body programming for Pilates and arts businesses in Seattle and San Francisco such as Yoga Kula and Presidio Community YMCA, and JGPG Performance Group.
While working in San Francisco as a company member in Scott Wells & Dancers, she began training as a Trager® Neuromuscular Integration Practictioner. After moving to Urbana-Champaign, she was deeply influenced by classes in Alexander Technique while working as a creative fellow, and teaching contact improvisation, modern tumbling and dance history at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. She graduated in 2011 and returned to Seattle, received her Trager certification and massage license while at Discoverypoint School for Massage in 2012.
Aldrich is working on Vashon Island and West Seattle creating educational materials for movement medicine and offering bookings for Trager, massage, and Somatic Pilates sessions to athletes of all kinds. Her most recent passion is a new project-- Whole Body Boot Camp, a six month program that improves body positive self-care habits.

5/5 stars I have been getting therapeutic massages from various practitioners for 30 years and Hallie is the best massage therapist yet! 5/5 stars "Hallie really is the best massage therapist I've ever had! I've had numerous car accidents in the past years and worked with many massage therapists so I can tell if they know their stuff. Hallie actually does! It's easy to see that she is passionate about what she does and she genuinely cares and wants her patients to get better. She's been helping me since June 2015 for the last car accident I got into. She evaluates my condition and progress before each session and then personalizes the techniques to maximize the benefits/effect. She also takes the extra step to study each trigger points and find more ways to help relieve the pain on her free time. I make fun of her because her favorite thing to do when she's free is to look up muscles on her phone app and study the trigger points. She tries to always advance her knowledge so she can care for her patients better. Who does that nowadays?? Hallie is so caring that she gets very excited when she's able to help me feel better. I can honestly say, after each session, my pain would go away or reduce tremendously. It's like magic! For those who has experienced chronicle pain, you know how refreshing and what a relief that is! I've had massage therapists that go through the same routines with everyone, every session, and never really know what my body needs. Hallie is different! I look forward to each session with her and I notice a difference when I can't make it to the sessions. Hallie is also very down to earth, friendly, and she makes me feel comfortable. I also found out that I was pregnant when I got into the car accident. Hallie appropriately adjusts her techniques and style to better fit my growing belly. :) I can't thank her enough for all she's done to help me! I HIGHLY recommend Hallie Aldrich to anyone who wants to feel better physically!" --, Seattle IT Director
5/5 stars "I have to send a yelp review to all those who read these. Hallie Aldrich is amazing. I was in an accident and my neck and back is out of whack. She has helped me so much. You can tell she loves what she does and truly cares how you feel, where your hurting and knows how to fix the pain through out your body. After my visits, when I got home I am so relaxed I don't want to move a muscle. If you're in pain and need a massage therapist you have to call Hallie. She is the real deal. You just cant go wrong with her." --Office Manager, Seattle
5/5 stars "Hallie is the BEST and most KNOWLEDGEABLE massage therapist I have had the pleasure of meeting. I've seen over a dozen massage therapists over the past 9 years after my car accidents. Ones from chiropractor practice's, ones from big spa's and big massage studios. Out of all of them Hallie was the only one that helped me reach my health goals. She used her extensive knowledge of human physiology and body movement to help provide me with lasting pain relief and greatly aided my recovery. Her massages are custom tailored based on individual needs instead of just a repeated routine like some other therapists. She shows this by asking effective questions and giving great feed back. I very highly recommend Hallie and urge everyone to not pass her up! Also her prices are a crazy good deal considering her vast field of knowledge and skill!" -- Student, Seattle
3/9/2016 5/5 stars "I agree with Alexander A. If you need a relaxing wonderful massage to relieve the stress of our hurried culture, or have a pulled muscle or sports injury, Hallie Aldrich is the person to see. I have had experience with both kinds of massages from Hallie. She has a holistic style that combines scientific body knowledge with her personal training in movement. She will also give you amazing feedback about ways you can move to create optimum health and comfort. I highly recommend Movement Intelligence and the sensitive caring touch of Hallie Aldrich." --Personal Coach, Vashon
